Shopify · AI product imagery · Three languages

A full catalogue, and not one photo shoot

Mirry Home sells home goods in the Netherlands. They had the products and the customers, but no way to sell online — and a product photography quote that cost more than the store itself.

The Mirry Home Shopify store designed and set up by Kiyoro Design

The brief

The blocker was not the platform. It was the pictures.

A catalogue of home goods needs consistent product shots and enough lifestyle imagery to make someone want the thing in their own room. Quoted conventionally, that is a studio day, a stylist, a photographer and a retoucher — and it has to be repeated every time the range changes.

On top of that, the store had to sell to three language markets from day one, with payments and shipping that behave correctly in each.

Project facts

  • Client: Mirry Home, Netherlands
  • Sector: home goods / e-commerce
  • Scope: Shopify build, AI imagery, localisation
  • Languages: three storefronts
  • Imagery: fully AI-generated
  • Year: 2025

What we built

  • Complete Shopify setup: catalogue, variants, collections, navigation, legal pages
  • The entire product image library generated with AI and reviewed by hand
  • Lifestyle imagery placing products in real interiors
  • Three localised storefronts with correct hreflang signals, not a translate widget
  • Checkout configured for the Dutch market — iDEAL, cards, the payment methods people expect
  • Shipping zones and rates for the Netherlands and the wider EU
  • Product descriptions written for search as well as for persuasion
  • Conversion tracking and abandoned-cart recovery switched on before launch

The result

The store launched in three languages with a complete, visually consistent catalogue — and the photography budget stayed in the business.

The part the client valued most was not the saving, it was the speed of change: when a new product lands, its imagery is produced the same week instead of waiting for the next shoot to be worth booking.

From catalogue to checkout in three languages, everything was handled. The AI product imagery alone saved us weeks.

FAQ

About this project

Can AI really replace product photography?
For catalogue and lifestyle imagery of physical goods, increasingly yes — and it stays consistent across hundreds of items. For anything that must be verifiably real, such as your premises or your team, use a camera. We mix both.
How many languages can a Shopify store run in?
As many as you can maintain. Three is a comfortable maximum for a small team — beyond that the content upkeep usually costs more than the extra market returns.
How long did the build take?
A build of this size runs four to eight weeks, with catalogue size and imagery volume as the main variables.
Would this work for my shop?
If you sell physical products and photography is your bottleneck, almost certainly. Send us a link to your catalogue and we will tell you honestly.
