Why the studio exists

Amsterdam has two kinds of web company. There are agencies with a floor of people and a minimum project size that starts where most small businesses stop. And there are the €199 template shops, which are exactly what they cost.

In between sits almost every business we work with: a shop, a contractor, a consultancy, a small brand. They need a site that is genuinely designed for them, built to be found, and priced like a considered purchase rather than a capital project. That gap is the whole reason Kiyoro exists.

Working in two languages

Amsterdam is one of the most international cities in Europe and a great many businesses here do not operate in Dutch. We work in English and Spanish, and we write copy in both rather than translating it — which is a different thing entirely, and shows.

It is also why our client list already spans Barcelona and the Netherlands. Language turns out to matter more than geography.

How we use AI, and where we stop

We are open about using AI. It produces our product imagery, our reel and ad creative, and it speeds up parts of the build. That is why a full catalogue of product photography is affordable for a business that could never book a studio day.

What we do not do is ship anything a person has not reviewed. Every image, every line of copy and every page gets looked at by a human before it reaches a client, and anything that looks uncanny or reads like a machine gets redone. Speed is the benefit; unattended output is not.
